My family and I can not say enough good things about Heather, Todd and Chuck at Top Choice! They are the builders who became family! In summer 2023 we found out I was pregnant with my second son and panicked needing to find an office space for my husband and a place for our kids to play. We have a ton of space in our basement but it was a weird layout and not our design style at all! The design process with heather was incredibly thorough and she understood and put words to my style before even understood it. In my family I am the spender and my husband is the saver. I was more than ready to drop whatever was needed to get our desired outcome. My husband brian is much more frugal. Heather and Todd were honest and open about where to cut the budget and costs. This is an amazing quality that is missing in some businesses. They are honest, and real about expenses. Our basement has become THE place to be in our house and the talk of our family and friends. Heather is now a lifelong friend (Todd too) and we will be using them for any and whatever project. Their integrity, honesty, creativity and humor are cornerstones of their business. Also the crew (the boys) are so kind! We love all of them and they were a celebrity in our home with our toddler son who is obsessed with construction

I highly recommend Top Choice Builders for any home renovation project. Their unique approach helped us control our costs and timeline, and made our whole-home renovation a surprisingly stress-free experience. When we first approached the team at Top Choice they took the time to get to know us and understand our challenges. They saw potential within our walls that no one else could see and presented a design that met all of our needs now and in the future and a solution that would add value to our home. Their up-front and very detailed design process eliminated unpleasant surprises throughout the entire renovation and made sure our “new” house reflected our style and preferences. Once construction began, their continued attention to detail and constant communication kept our project moving smoothly. Their entire team is friendly and professional and we genuinely enjoyed getting to know everyone at Top Choice. Because we made so many decisions during the design phase, and thanks to their incredible attention to our timeline, they completely renovated our first floor and a portion of our second floor in only four months.

We are so grateful to the team at Top Choice for making our renovation a smooth process and giving us a beautiful home that functions perfectly for our family.

Top Choice did a great job with our bedroom remodel. We needed to get out of the 90s and update with a style that better fit our personality and the look of the rest of the house. Top Choice did a fantastic job coordinating our other projects taking place at the same time so that everything was finished in a timely manner. Very pleased and would highly recommend!

What a wonderful company to work with. The people are amazing. From their leadership to the design, the crew, the sub-contractors ... All great to deal with. We never had any concerns with who was in our home, whether we were home or not. The attention to detail, flexibility to 'our' changes, the quality, the oversight and the finished product. We are so happy with everything they did. It feels like a new house. Did I mention 'the people'? A+! Thanks Top Choice!

Top Choice Builders, what a great team to work with for home remodel!
A locally owned and run family business.
Todd and Heather will tell you straight up how things will go and approximate time length.
Heather comes up with several drawings on different looks for your new place, and you will be amazed at her drawings.
At one of our first meetings Todd told us that he "would not put anything in your house I would not put in mine"
We started ours in May of 2020, so we had some starts and a lot of stops because of covid.
Late September we broke ground and Todd did a great job of juggling trades around to keep the project moving forward.
All the trades - from the cement guys to the rougher to the painter were all very knowledgeable and had a great plan to complete their part of the job.
Todd's Crew, Derick, Kyle and Gary are all amazing at how well they know their trade and also how well they work together. We actually, kind of missed them when they were all done.
We could not be happier with our decision to go with Top Choice Builders.
Everybody that comes over cannot believe how beautiful the house is now.
Thanks to Heather, Todd and the guys at Top Choice Builders.

Top Choice Builders did an amazing job on our kitchen remodel. The whole experience was great. The crew was very respectful and clean. Todd is an excellent builder and has great ideas. Heather really took the time to lay out the design and would give great ideas about things I would not have thought about. I'm looking forward to the next project!

Had an initial phone conversation in regards to our kitchen remodel. I was told I would be receiving an email later that day with company info and links. I was asked to text some pictures (which I did immediately) and someone would reach out to me. A week later, no call no email, zero follow up.

I texted the person I spoke with and told him I received no follow up and to remove my request as I would go with someone else. No return text with an apology or anything.

I’m extremely fortunate that I found out how flaky they are before I spent money with them!!!

Update—Owner did reach out to me to apologize. I changed my review to 5 stars based on his call.

I still went with another company because the lack of follow up by this company threw up a red flag.
