Yes, the design process is mandatory for the following reasons:

  1. To develop the scope of work.
  2. To define expectations, addresses concerns, allow the customer to select products in a calm, stress free environment, that will control project creep, it also allows the homeowner to have a more enjoyable experience throughout the build process.

The length of the design process varies depending on the size of the project and largely depends on your ability and willingness to make decisions quickly and meet regularly with our designer.

This depends on the size of the project and your capacity to deal with the unrest in your home. If you will be remodeling a large portion of your home consisting of the main living spaces, we would recommend that you move out during construction.

Generally, yes.  What that percentage is will vary depending on the type of project and materials used.

No, we do not accept credit cards for payment. Financing would need to be done through your preferred banking institution; however, we do work closely with institutions in the area.

This allows both of us to determine whether or not your project is a good fit. There are many projects that don’t fit our process and company profile and we would rather have a conversation first, to make sure not to waste your time or ours with a meeting. We do ask a lot of questions during the initial phone conversation to get a feel for your type of project.

No, however, with some project information, we do provide an estimated range. This is really only to provide a jumping off point and to give a ballpark cost. The Design and Project Development process is the only way to get customer involvement and an accurate cost.
